We are very pleased that Markenfilm Hamburg has won a Golden Lion in the Outdoor > Immersive Experiences category together with Serviceplan Munich with our heart project Lifeboat – The Experiment for the Sea Watch EV.
„The Mediterranean Sea remains the world’s deadliest border in 2019,“ explains Michael Schwickart from Sea-Watch. Through this experiment, we wanted to make the dangers that refugees face tangible for us – by simulating the Mediterranean crossing for 40 volunteers in an inflatable boat for hours.
With the power of music, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, together with Markenfilm SPACE and Jung von Matt, wanted to make a statement. Because climate change has become one of the greatest threats to life on our planet. We are all the more pleased that with such an important and powerful project, For Season – Composed by Climate Data, we were not only able to convince the jury in the category Radio & Audio > Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility and win Bronze, but were also awarded another Golden Lion in the category Creative Data > Data Storytelling.
